Unlocking the Hidden Stable States of Life
AlphaFold predicts a protein's most likely structure. RataFold systematically searches its conformational landscape, scores each candidate with an 11-term physics force field, and screens every one through validation gates, surfacing only the vetted, energetically stable states the protein can occupy.
That landscape is astronomically large, with more conformations than atoms in the universe, far beyond brute force. RataFold's search algorithm navigates directly to the stable states rather than sampling toward them. It is deterministic and reproducible, within a fixed compute budget, on a laptop as readily as a cluster.
